I have been hosting a room at Turntable.fm that features stuff you shouldn’t dance to. Or can’t.

Anyway, it should come as no surprise that I bend toward the unconventional, and this site is surprisingly pliable. It seems a lot of people host rooms where they can dwell in nostalgia (“I Love The 80s”) or provide a nice backdrop for work. I like the idea of hosting a room for some real challenging music that needs attention. I also like the cartoon quality to the presentation, as it provides a humourous cognitive dissonance. The little guys dance and bop their heads when I play Merzbow!

More ridiculousness, please – why do we have to take ourselves so seriously?

3CF1DM is working on a new cover, and I guarantee you don’t know it. It’s probably the mathiest thing we’ve ever done, if you can believe that. We’re learning it from a YouTube fan-made video, which is as hard and ridiculous as it sounds.
